Issue 3 - 2011

After 40 hours of plane ights and airports I landed in the beautiful country of Zambia. I had the mindset that I was ready for God to use me in whatever ways He had planned. My ve hour journey to Chengelo (a Christian school) broke my heart as I saw poverty rsthand and the e ect it has on communities. Women sweeping roads, men using pick axes, children selling whatever they could nd, all in 35 degree heat. Although this quickly became a blur as I entered into ve busy weeks assisting within a number of areas at Chengelo. These areas included, rewriting curriculum, leading small groups, relief teaching and praying with and for the high school students. It was the most amazing experience where I learnt a lot about myself and I grew so much closer to God.

I am no one special, I don't have fancyqualifications, I simply prayed and gave God the opportunity to use me as His hands and feet. So I challenge you, what are you praying for?
