Late yesterday, Ian Cross rang NZ to alert people he was alive and unharmed, despite being in Guiuan which bore the brunt of the typhoon. Thank you for praying for him and the Australian Kulikovsky family he was working with. They too are unharmed, as are the local Christians who were with them. It has clearly been a traumatic time for them all, so please pray for God's comfort and peace for them as they deal with all they have been through. Pray also they will know God's enabling and strength as they demonstrate God's love in practical ways with those in desperate need around them.

Pray too for the many people who are displaced and left wondering about the wellbeing of family. Relatives of an Australian CBC missionary family are in that predicament. Their two little girls were found holding hands and drowned in the school where they were sheltering and their two other children are still missing. This will be the plight of many, many people.
