Mozambique
We have run into a problem with the Mozambique Civil aviation authorities. They now have a regulation that says, "any foreign registered aircraft entering Mozambique may fly to only one destination, being the first point of entry. It may NOT proceed to any other place in Mozambique, unless they can prove that it is not a commercial flight". Last week Allan our CEO and John [chief pilot] flew to Maputo to meet with the Director of Air Transport and her 2nd in charge for issuing permits to present our case and find out what is needed to 'prove' that we are not flying commercial flights into Mozambique. We are now requesting letters of support from the various organisations we work with – including government hospitals, to try and keep this door open for us. Please pray.
