Usually we have plenty to be positive about, but our last outreach in Southern Moz was one of those that was fraught with frustrations and disappointments. So many of the national nurses just don't care. Every day seemed to bring some new challenge, but with those challenges, the awareness of how much need is there and the potential that we have to do something about it. At three villages where we did clinics, people there begged for us to bring a dentist. They live without relief from pain for years. When I raised this with the senior Doctor Missael at the provincial hospital, he without hesitation offered for us to take their dentist along with us on future clinics. It is such a privilege to have such a good guy as him in this position of influence. Give thanks.
