Brookes2-176x132 Karen and Peter Brookes live in Auckland and belong to Lincoln Road Bible Chapel. They have three adult children. Karen is passionate about mission because it is the heartbeat of God. The story of the cross, God's great redemption plan, is the only story worth living for. "God is working in the world and has given us the privilege of working with Him."
 david heather cantwell-176x156 David and Heather Cantwell have four adult children, three sons Jonathan, Stephen and Gareth and a daughter Lisa. They reside in Te Puke and attend the Paengaroa Bible Chapel where David is on the eldership team. David looks after the purchasing and stores at a local plumbing company, and Heather is head rehab assistant at The Stewart Centre which caters for people with head injuries. They both have a keen interest in missions and promoting a greater awareness of mission partners and their support in the local church. Both have had short term mission experience, as have all their family members.
 Fletcher-176x132  Graham and Diane Fletcher live in Invercargill and attend Rosedale Bible Chapel. Graham is a Chartered Accountant in Public Practice and Diane is Assistant Principal at Southland Girls’ High School. They have a family of four adult children, one of whom is married and all live overseas except for one studying in Auckland. Graham and Diane have a passion to make a difference through building loving relationships.
 Franklyn C & S 2010-176x132 Chris & Sheri Franklyn worked in Papua New Guinea for 3 years. Chris as the General Manager for Christian Books Melanesia, along with involvement with the Christian Brethren Churches of PNG. They have now resettled into Palmerston North and Chris now works with the Cancer Society of NZ as a Business Services Manager for the Central region. Chris and Sheri have three children, and hope to re-enter the missionary field at a later date.
 Val Goold 06176x181  Val Goold lives in Wellington but travels nationally in her work with Tertiary Students Christian Fellowship. As the Head of Student Ministries, she oversees the work among kiwi and international tertiary students from Auckland to Invercargil! Val attends Porirua Gospel Chapel, but she is also commended in her work from Putaruru Gospel Chapel. Val has benefited from a long family heritage involvement in mission and is committed to seeing a new generation of young people reached for Christ.
DSCF1478-176x132 Chris and Lee Hill have two girls aged 6 and 3, and live in Hamilton where they attend Hillcrest Chapel. Chris' missions experience began as a child when his family spent 8 years in India. Chris studied missions theology at Laidlaw College in preparation for going to Japan, where they spent 3½ years from 2007-2010. Their core task was studying the Bible with Japanese believers, bringing God's word to bear on the issues they are facing. Since returning to New Zealand, Lee has resumed teaching high school English while Chris is a 'home engineer' (at home dad). Chris is keen for local churches to grasp the big picture of God's mission (Father, Son and Spirit) that we find in the Bible. He's keen for us all to think about and do missions in the light of what God is doing. And he wants Kiwi Christians to know about and get excited about what God is doing all over the world.
McEwans-176x132 Roanne and Winston McEwan have three children and live in Hamilton after spending 6 months in Zambia last year. They attend Whitiora Bible Church. Roanne is a Home maker. She has had the privilege of a lifetime of exposure to missions and seeks to encourage others to have a growing interest and involvement in mission.
Marshall2011-176x132 Since he was quite young, Sefton Marshall has had missionaries & mission interest influencing him.  That influence has remained strong through to now in his role as Operations Director with GC3 in Palmerston North. Sefton is married to Claire & together they long for others to know Jesus & have a robust relationship with Him.  This motivates them in their active involvement at Crossroads Bible Church & in other ministries.  “Having this strong mission influence has enriched our lives, created experiences for us to prove God & enabled us to clearly see Him at work.”
 Stevensons-176x132 Murray & Joy Stevenson work both in NZ and the DR Congo in the promotion of mission leadership development. They specifically enjoy encouraging the value of building partnerships with indigenous leaders and providing resources to expand the evangelist  impact of mission partner countries.  Their home in NZ is in Ruakaka and in Congo Lubumbashi, although most of their time  is spent in itinerant work in both countries.  They have an adult family of 4 children living in Canada and NZ with the the privilege of  sons, daughters in-laws and 4 grandchildren!
stokes Mark and Emma Stokes live in Tauranga with their two little boys and are part of the Greerton Bible Church family. After a stint developing Headspace as the Youth Director for GC3, Emma is delighted to now serve on the Board. She is passionate about the local church (and in particular the rising generation of leaders in the church) understanding their role in God's mission and engaging in it. Mark and Emma have a particular interest in Thailand and are involved as Partnership Facilitators there for Bright Hope World. Mark works fulltime for the New Zealand Police.
Bruce Ruth Stormer-176x116 Bruce and Ruth Stormer live In Whitby, Wellington and attend The Anchor Church, where Bruce is an elder. Bruce is a Chartered Accountant in public practice and Ruth is a registered nurse working at a local resthome as well as home-schooling their children. Bruce has had a long interest in missions, first encouraged by his parents and he seeks to do the same for his children and the local church. He has taken his eldest to Brazil to visit mission partners and wants to do the same for the rest of his children.
Russell&Pearl2013-176x125 Russell and Pearl Thorp live in Auckland with their four children and are involved with Lincoln Road Bible Chapel. Russell is the Missions Director for GC3 after having been Dean of Undergraduate Studies at Carey Baptist College and Senior Lecturer/ Internship Coordinator at Pathways College of Bible and Mission. He is currently Chair of the Academic Advisory Board for Christian Leaders Training College and makes regular leadership training trips to PNG and other places as the Lord leads. He is passionate about mission because reaching the world for Christ is on God’s heart.
